This privacy notice is intended to provide transparency regarding what to expect when the Trustees of the Armstrong Pension Scheme, the Scheme Actuary and Lane Clark & Peacock LLP (LCP) process personal information. It applies to information about Scheme members, their beneficiaries and other persons associated with them.

The Trustees purchased a bulk annuity policy from the insurer JUST Retirement Group ("JUST") in November 2020. As part of that policy, the Trustees are required to provide JUST with information about the members of the Scheme. A copy of JUST's privacy policy can be found here.

We want to make sure we're paying the right pensions to the right members. This is why, if you are currently being paid a pension from the Scheme, we ask you to periodically complete the Member Verification process.

Lane Clark & Peacock (LCP) will send you an invitation, usually around September, asking you to complete the process. This invitation will be sent to your postal address and, where held, also to your registered email address (the email that you receive will be from [email protected]).
